As the area's premier pre-professional ballet institution, the GLBC brings this stunning art form to venues throughout Mid-Michigan. As a nonprofit organization, the GLBC also extends to young people a unique opportunity to learn and perform classical and contemporary ballet in an extraordinary professional environment.

The GLBC is a proud member of the renowned Regional Dance America, a national organization of ballet companies that promotes the artistic development of dance companies throughout the United States. The RDA provides professional standards for eighty-seven companies and over two thousand dancers across the country. Many Regional Dance America companies and dancers have gone on to professional careers.

2011 Company Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, September 10th.  Juniors from 12pm-1pm, Seniors from 1pm-2:30pm.
